Our Goal

To ensure that the talent mix and organizational structure is in alignment with the company’s growth plan, service commitment and vision.  The M David Katz Company works with Stakeholders, Executives, Management and Staff to develop a specific plan of action to identify, attract, develop and retain the talent mix required as the organization breaks through growth barriers.

Strategic Level

We work with Business Owners and Stakeholders to identify the executive, managerial and operational staffing needs at each stage of the organization’s growth.  The Organizational Structure Design serves as a guide in the career development for existing staff, to develop a Talent Acquisition Plan or to identify desired Business Alliances.

An effective Organizational Structure Design includes five interrelated components of the organization:

  • Employees (the individual talent necessary for success)

Tactical Level

Once the Organizational Structure Design has been defined, The M David Katz Company works with Executives and Management to create a cohesive leadership team that utilizes structural linking mechanisms, meaning that each area of the business works together in supporting the overall growth plan, service commitment and vision.

Through structural linking mechanisms, The M David Katz Company ensure that each Executive or Manager has the support they need, without duplicating support positions. The tactical level may require creating new positions, hiring, or even downsizing.

Operational Level

At the operational level, we define the work of support processes, as well as each employee’s new roles and responsibilities. The M David Katz Company ensures that each support unit gets the opportunity to provide feedback on the new structure.

If bottlenecks or flawed processes are identified, the Organizational Structure Design may be modified.
