To develop a specific plan of action to achieve desired business goals through the use of technology. The M David Katz Company works with Stakeholders, Executives, Management and Staff to ensure that computers and telecommunications equipment is being used as effectively and efficiently as possible to store, transmit, retrieve and manipulate data.

Strategic Level

We work with Business Owners and Stakeholders to review the existing information systems that support the organization. The initiation meeting involves determining the need, if any, to change an existing process or information system.

To determine the need for change, The M David Katz Company meets with the Business Owners, Stakeholders to fully understand:

  • Which IT vendors are used by the organization
  • The adequacy and allocation of IT resources in terms of funding, personnel, and equipment
  • The process by which major projects are approved and monitored
  • The existing IT budget
  • The overall IT performance

Once The M David Katz Company has determined the need for change, the process of acquiring and configuring or installing the necessary hardware, software and other resources begins. The M David Katz Company has several IT partners to accomplish such tasks.

Tactical Level

At the tactical level, the implementation, the process of making new systems operational within the organization begins. The M David Katz Company begins by meeting with internal IT Managers or professionals responsible for managing computers and telecommunications within the organization.

If a managed services company has been engaged, or there is an existing relationship, The M David Katz Company works as a liaison between the IT professionals and your management team to ensure that both parties fully benefit from the new IT system.

Operational Level

New technology or forms of communication is introduced to the personnel of the organization. Operation and maintenance occurs at every level, and it is determined whether or not the new system is delivering the anticipated benefits.
